After the project design and permitting process is complete, environmental compliance during the construction phase is crucial.
Permit compliance can be overlooked between design and build. Implementation and documentation of permit conditions is required to avoid costly delays to your project.
HBK's environmental team was born from a construction background and we have the experience to manage issues that can arise during the various construction phases. Whether it is providing qualified environmental inspectors on FERC projects or assisting with permit revision applications due to unforeseen changes in the field, our staff has the knowledge and expertise to help make your project successful.

Stormwater
The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program is regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to address water pollution by regulating point sources that discharge into waters of the U.S. However, the EPA has authorized state governments to perform the permitting, administrative and enforcement aspects of the NPDES permit program.
HBK's environmental team provides stormwater-related services for projects in the electric, oil and gas, municipal utility, transportation and land development industries.
Our staff is well versed in development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), agency consultation and coordination to obtain permits, Best Management Practice Plans, SWPPP inspection, development and implementation of training programs for construction personnel, and audit and compliance oversight during construction-phase activities.
