Project Summary

In conjunction with bi-directional modification efforts to their Rockies Express (REX) pipeline, Tallgrass Energy Partners is enhancing their overall system to allow for an additional 800 MMscfd from the east end of REX to market opportunities in the west. The REX Zone 3 Capacity Enhancement Project increased the system’s delivery capacity from 1.8 Bcfd to 2.6 Bcfd by adding three (3) new compressor stations and modifying two (2) existing compressor stations.

HBK's oil and gas team acted as the general contractor and performed the project management, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). Construction was completed on schedule.
