Project Summary
HBK's oil and gas team provided engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the Sendero NGL Pipeline Project. The pipeline began in Eddy County, near Loving, New Mexico, and ended in Reeves County, near Orla, Texas. The EPC project consisted of the construction of a 29-mile, 12-inch pipeline along with a meter station, launcher, receiver, mainline valves, and two future side tap connections. The pipeline crossed two states, three counties, included four horizontal directional drills (HDDs), and crossed 126 foreign pipelines. The new NGL meter station had a small 100’ x 100’ footprint and included a 15’ x 6,000’ access road. The meter station measured NGLs being produced by the neighboring Sendero Carlsbad Processing Plant and the pipeline transferred the NGL to the ETC pipeline near the Ramsey Plant. The project began in mid-October 2017 and started service in February 2018.
