HBK's oil an has team performed the following services for Rangeland’s RIO Pipeline Project:
- Detailed engineering design for pipeline and terminal facilitiesPrepared IFC (issued for construction) pipeline alignment sheets and facility drawings
- Prepared BOM (bill of materials) specifications and material requisitions
- ready for Rangeland to place purchase orders
- Prepared bid packages for pipeline and facility construction
The State Line Terminal included 5 truck unload stations with LACT units, two each 5,000 bbl tanks, two each 80,000 bbl crude oil storage tanks, a pipeline origin pump, and a custody transfer meter station located within the boundaries of the terminal. This also included booster pumps and mainline pump or pumps (with provisions for future pumps), and included all necessary facility for fully automated operation.
The pipeline scope included approximately 109 miles of 12.75-inch common-carrier pipeline from the State Line Terminal to a delivery point at the Geneva Station, including a pipeline pig launching assembly at the State Line Terminal, pipeline pig receiving assembly at the Geneva Station and connections for future pig launcher/ receiver facility at a future intermediate booster station site, and five each automated mainline block valves.
The Midland Delivery Facility at/near the existing Midland crude oil tank farm included an incoming custody transfer pipeline meter, two truck stations with LACT units, three 110,000 bbl tanks, and two connections to third-party facilities in the Midland tank farm area.
