Project Summary

HBK's oil and gas team provided engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the installation of a 7.8-mile, 16-inch pipeline, 8-inch remote meter station with gas chromatograph that included seven crossing bores and 1,200-ft horizontal directional drill (HDD), in Jackson County, Texas.

Piping: 6-inch to 24-inch piping, bi-directional flow to B31.8 design parameters. Each station included launcher/receiver trap.

Electrical: EI&C and interface to gas/hydraulic valve actuators via the AB PLC which is controlled by the Master Control Center via the PLC and SCADA. The configuration was arranged to limit the electronic noise on the UT meter. The design also included the regulator piping where an 85-dBA noise threshold is maintained.
