HBK Professional Land Surveyor David Landrecht was part of a ceremony to install the first of seven bike repair stations along the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia. Landrecht is a new board member for Schuylkill River Greenways National Heritage Area. The ribbon cutting took place on December 19, 2019 and attendees included local state representatives, community partners and cyclists.

Seven fix-it stations will be spread out along the trail between Philadelphia and Berk Counties. Each station features a bike rack, an air pump, and a full set of bike tools for minor repairs.

The fix-it station project was led by the Schuylkill River Development Corporation with funding by Schuylkill River Greenways, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and National Resources, and the REI Co-op. The first station is near the Walnut Street Bridge, just steps from the HBK office in Philadelphia.
