HBK's 20th Anniversary!


HBK Engineering, LLC opened its doors on January 4th, 1999.  Thank you to everyone who made these past 20 years possible with hard work, effort, and dedication that has been instrumental in our growth.

National Mentoring Month


January is National Mentoring Month!  This campaign is held each January to promote youth mentoring and help America's youth achieve their full potential.  Thank you to our very own HBK mentors, Claressa A., Sebrina N., and Erin P. for making a lasting difference in the lives of others!

2019 State of the Village Address


On Thursday, January 17th HBK attended the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce State of the Village Luncheon at Bolingbrook Gold Club. This year, Roger C. Claar, Mayor of the Village of Bolingbrook served as the keynote speaker while attendees networked with local, regional, statewide, and national business and civic leaders.

DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference


HBK attended the January Legislative Reception & Dinner for the DuPage Mayors & Managers Conference to discuss the Conference's legislative priorities for 2019.  The Conference serves to promote excellence in municipal government, evaluate the impact of pending legislation, and support intergovernmental cooperation.  This particular event featured a presentation of the Conference's initiatives for the year and offered attendees an opportunity to share their thoughts. 

IMPACT: Step Up For Kids


HBK employees spent the weekend volunteering at AON's 22nd annual Step Up For Kids event presented by KPMG.  Volunteers facilitated over 1,750 participants climb 80 floors to the top of the AON Center while raising over $686,400 for the patients and families of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.  Thank you to all our volunteers that helped make such an incredible IMPACT! 

St. Ignatius MVP Pitches


HBK Executive Leadership visited St. Ignatius on January 23rd to serve on a panel of guest judges for student product pitches.  As part of an Entrepreneurial class, Ignatius students create a product or service and pitch it to business owners and Ignatius Alumni for support and feedback on their plans.  HBK was proud to support such a worthwhile opportunity for possible up-and-coming business leaders!
