HBK has performed site development projects for parking lots, roadways, commercial developments and urban and rural electrical substations. HBK Engineering has been involved in several recent projects that have been subject to the new regulatory guidelines that prioritize on-site infiltration of stormwater over measured discharge including the site development of a new electrical substation located in a mountainous region of western Pennsylvania. Additionally, HBK Engineering developed the design of a new alley in the City of Chicago that followed the revised “green alley” guidelines. This was one of the first alleys in the City of Chicago to be designed and constructed to these guidelines.
