Ronald G. Kaminski, P.E.
President and Chief Executive Officer
As Principal and Founder of HBK Engineering, LLC, Mr. Kaminski adds 18 years of Engineering, Construction and Management expertise to all aspects of the company.  Since opening HBK in 1998, Mr. Kaminski has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm and led its expansion from Chicago to the East Coast and subsequent licensure to practice in 28 states.

Mr. Kaminski’s responsibilities to HBK have changed throughout the past years, but a commitment to make HBK the utility industry’s premier engineering resource has never varied. During the early or entrepreneurial phase of the company, Mr. Kaminski was involved with every detail of the engineering and construction work with a vision to build a corporate structure necessary for the growth that would ensue. Today, his role includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the Financial, Legal, Human Resources and Business Development Departments. HBK’s Engineering Directors report through two Vice Presidents of Operations then ultimately to Mr. Kaminski. Projects have covered some of the utility industry’s most complex urban challenges while maintaining its valued reputation of providing safe, constructible and cost effective deliverables.

Mr. Kaminski’s goal to push HBK to the forefront of the utility industry has been accomplished with the help of the firm’s progressive delivery of subsurface utility engineering (SUE) methodology including surface geophysics, 3D Scanners, surveying technology, non-evasive excavation techniques, CADD systems and geographic information software.
