Donald N. Kleyweg, P.E.
Engineering Director
Mr. Kleyweg has over ten years of experience in capital program development, design and construction management of electrical utility projects. Mr. Kleyweg's areas of expertise include electrical substation design, overhead and underground electrical transmission line design with emphasis on constructability.

Mr. Kleyweg is directly responsible for overseeing the design output of HBKs team of engineers and designers, with an emphasis on maintaining a high quality product while providing superior client satisfaction.

Mr. Kleyweg is directly responsible for resolution of field related issues, key problem solving, scheduling and interaction with clients, consultants and contractors. Mr. Kleyweg is knowledgeable in all project aspects from project inception, through all phases of design, estimating, procurement, construction support through to project closeout.

Mr. Kleyweg holds a Bachelors of Science degree and a Masters of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with an emphasis on structural and geotechnical engineering. He is also a certified Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
